Newly-qualified drivers identify one of the biggest challenges they face is driving without the support of their instructor and the reports indicate that independent driving should help bridge that gap. Over 450 learner drivers, instructors and examiners took part in the research. While the learner drivers found the tasks a challenge to complete they believed they were relevant to real driving.
