Scotland: the future of vocational testing04-08-2016
DVSA has announced that it is soon to stop vocational testing from Dumfries, Inverness and Kilmarnock goods vehicle testing stations (GVTS).

They expect to have moved all testing from these sites by 31 March 2017 and have issued similar statements about all three centres.

They state that these closures are in line with the government's strategy to reduce its estate and associated costs.

Provide vocational driving tests from your site

DVSA say they are committed to continue providing vocational testing in the Inverness area and are looking to do this by using third party premises and customer sites.

They would like to hear from you if you have a suitable hardstanding area for the reverse exercise and can fill a programme of tests.
