Helping you stay safe on Great Britainís Roads04-08-2016
Gareth Llewellyn, DVSA Chief Executive has written to MSA GB enclosing a report highlighting some of the agencies compliance activities and successes over the past twelve months. He has invited us to share the report with members.

Dear MSA GB

After joining the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) in April this year, I spent my first weeks out on the road meeting and listening to our staff, customers and partners.

What I heard was that we all share a common goal - we are all passionate about making a positive impact on road safety.

l was particularly impressed by the important work our enforcement and fraud and integrity teams carry out on a daily basis. Their work is vital in supporting our vision for safer drivers, safer vehicles and safer journeys for all.

I know from listening to many of you that you also recognise the importance of this work. l have enclosed a report highlighting some of our compliance activities and successes over the past year. Which l would like you to share with your own stakeholders and customers.

Over the coming months we will be doing more to raise the profile of our organisation and the important work we do every day to keep everyone safe on Great Britain’s roads. l’m happy to hear your views on our enforcement work and the enclosed report.

I hope that by continuing to work with you, we can jointly make Great Britain’s roads even safer.

Yours sincerely

Gareth Llewellyn
